Privacy Policy

Microreflect (“we,” “us”) is a reflective journaling app operated by FRONTIER AI LLC. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Your log is private to you — we do not sell it.

What we collect

• Account — when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile photo.
• What you write — the moments you log (which may include food, calories, feelings and moods, activities, and your personal goals), plus the AI’s reflections on them.
• Optional profile details — if you set a calorie goal, the height/weight/target you enter to compute it.
• Usage & device data — basic analytics (pages, sessions, general device/browser info) to keep the app working.
• Payments — if you subscribe, Stripe processes your payment. We never see or store your full card details; we store only your subscription status.

How we use it

• To run the app and keep your log available to you across devices.
• To generate the reflections that are the point of the product.
• To process and manage your subscription.
• To understand usage in aggregate and improve the product.
• To respond when you contact us.

AI processing

To produce your reflections, the text you write is sent to Google’s Gemini models via Firebase AI Logic. Google processes it to return a response and does not use it to train its models under this configuration. Only what’s needed to generate the reflection is sent.

Who we share it with

We use trusted providers to run Microreflect, and share only what each needs:

• Google Firebase / Google Cloud — hosting, database, and sign-in.
• Google Gemini (Firebase AI Logic) — generating reflections.
• Stripe — subscription payments.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your journal entries for advertising.

Storage & security

Your data is stored in Google Cloud / Firebase. Each account’s data is isolated so no other user can read it, and access is enforced on our servers. No method is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Your choices

• Edit or delete entries anytime inside the app.
• Delete your account and data — contact us (below) and we’ll remove it.
• Analytics — you can limit analytics using your browser’s privacy controls.
• Cancel your subscription anytime from Menu → Manage subscription.

Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete it, we remove it from our systems (backups may persist for a short period before rotating out).

Children

Microreflect isn’t intended for anyone under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect data from them.

International

We operate from the United States, and your data is processed there. By using Microreflect you consent to this.

Changes

We may update this policy; we’ll change the date above when we do. Continued use means you accept the update.
